Project: Integration of digital solutions for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts France flagship.

Doughnut maker Krispy Kreme opens its very first boutique in France, drawing on the expertise ofInterway and Instore Solution, subsidiaries of Groupe Interwayfor complete IT and digital integration, all in just one month.

What was your initial project?

Krispy Kreme has always been at the forefront of innovation in the digitization of its access points, nearly 12,000 worldwide, to offer its one million daily customers a high-quality, efficient and secure service, and to facilitate the work of its employees.

In preparation for the inauguration of our very first establishment in France, we were looking for a partner capable of rapidly setting up a complete digital ecosystem, from the installation of a local network to control terminals, video surveillance, broadcast screens and a public address system.
The challenge was to deliver a phygital customer experience worthy of the event, under extremely tight deadlines, since the opening date was set for December 6.
We also had to ensure that the entire infrastructure was sufficiently robust and reliable to enable us to concentrate on welcoming and serving our first customers, who were expected in large numbers over a daily 8am-10pm shift.
Finally, given our development ambitions, we needed a system that was both scalable and flexible, and could adapt to our different store formats.

What solutions have been chosen?

In addition to technological solutions, we wanted to rely on a managed services operator capable of supporting us in the deployment of a solution, its maintenance in operational condition, its optimization and the regular integration of our new services.

The integration carried out by Groupe Interway is based on the installation of all SD-Branch infrastructure solutions (WiFi, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, Cameras), enabling optimal operation of the point of sale, as well as digitized customer paths via our Ordering Kiosks, Multi-Purpose Digital Signage, Public Address and WiFi HotSpot solutions.
