Groupe Interway is proud to announce the launch of its sports initiative, GIWAY Sport 2024, dedicated to supporting hand sports.

On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Groupe Interway and its employees are mobilizing to support handball sports. From February to September 2024.
At Groupe Interway, we are proud to announce our commitment to hand sports in the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We firmly believe in inclusion and diversity, and we are delighted to be able to support this important cause.
We have decided to implement a unique initiative: for every participation of our employees in an official sporting event from February to September 2024, we will make a donation to Departmental Handisport Committee of the 13th. Every contribution counts, every contribution from a collaborator makes a difference: 1 participation = 1 donation !
This initiative is not just a financial contribution; it is also an opportunity for our employees to get involved actively and become key players in this cause. Each sporting event becomes an opportunity to directly support hand sports.
The departmental handcycling committee 13:
Created in 1983, the association’s primary mission is to develop, coordinate and promote sports activities for people with disabilities, whether physical or sensory, throughout the entire departmental territory.
Mission of the Association
The association’s activities are focused on accessibility and inclusion. It firmly believes that sport is a right for everyone, and it strives to make this possible for people with disabilities in the department. It works closely with local sports clubs, schools, and institutions to facilitate access to sports activities.

Awareness days
J1: March 19, 2024
To make this project more vibrant in addition to our actions, we want to raise awareness among our employees about hand sports by having them participate in awareness workshops, such as a wheelchair course and a low vision course.
Handball embodies the values of effort, determination, and inclusion that we cherish at Groupe Interway. By supporting the Handisport Committee, we are contributing to creating fair opportunities for all athletes, regardless of their abilities.
In collaboration with the Bouches-du-Rhône Regional Handisport Committee, the program will be as follows:
- A classic wheelchair course, during which our employees will be sensitized to the daily obstacles encountered by people with reduced mobility.
- A wheelchair basketball course, supervised by top-level wheelchair basketball players to promote awareness through role-playing and action.
- An intervention by our leaders, committed to inclusion and accessibility.
- An inspiring encounter with Boustila Ouahid, a renowned handball player, who will share his journey, his challenges, and his experience of overcoming himself.

Last Tuesday, our second awareness day in hand sports took place as part of our GIWAY Sport 2024 project.
Groupe Interway organized a morning of awareness-raising about hand sports for its employees, placing inclusion at the heart of its commitments.
The program includes an introduction to seated volleyball and wheelchair courses, offering everyone an enriching and unifying experience.
An immense thank you to Stéphane Jamet, collaborator of the Interway Group and member of the CV FVB association, but also to the Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Handisport Committee and to all our colleagues who came forward.
Thanks to our leaders Patrick Benoit and Eric Jotti, who are actively mobilizing to make this sporting initiative a real success.
We are proud to announce that we have donated 1,500 € to Handisport departmental committee of Bouches-du-Rhône, thus marking the conclusion of our project #GIWAYsport2024.
This project symbolizes the commitment of Groupe Interway to support the values of sport for all and to promote accessibility and inclusion this exceptional year of the 2024 Paralympic Games.
