Cora launches easybox, its robotic, refrigerated & connected container service

Cora, major retailer in France, inaugurates EasyBox, its BtoBtoC service providing a robotic, refrigerated container, allowing employees to collect their shopping at their workplace 24 hours a day. By relying on the wide range of Cora hypermarkets via its cora.fr site, this innovation must also contribute to the objective of growing Cora's “off-site” turnover in France.
As a result of an unprecedented collaboration between Cora, Cleveron and Instore Solution , this service allows the provision of robotic and refrigerated containers on the sites of private structures located within a radius of about fifty kilometers from a Cora store. Employees of these partners can then have 24-hour access to a collection point for their Cora.fr order directly at their workplace, allowing them to save time and save fuel.

InStore Solution a eu le plaisir d’accueillir le premier ministre Estonien en visite chez zara boulevard hausmann pour découvrir le locker 402

Article produced by Cleveron

Prime Minister Ratas was received by Raphaël Cambier, Managing Director of InStore Solution, official Cleveron distributor on the French market.

During his visit, the Prime Minister had the chance to discover the Cleveron 402 robotic locker, installed in Zara stores around the world. This robotic locker plays an important role in the Inditex group's omnichannel strategy by offering an optimized package collection solution.

“InStore had the honour of welcoming Prime Minister Jüri Ratas to present Cleveron's cutting-edge technology integrated at Zara in the prestigious Boulevard Haussmann in the heart of Paris. We had the chance to discuss our Franco-Estonian partnership with Cleveron, which has a bright future,” said Raphaël Cambier.

The Cleveron 402 is the world's fastest robotic locker that delivers a package in less than 10 seconds, a crucial factor for a business that processes hundreds or thousands of packages per day. Automating parcel pick-up adds value to the customer shopping experience and significantly reduces the number of associated repetitive tasks that stores must manage each day.

InStore Solution is a pioneer of digital solutions in France with more than 14 years of experience and a presence with the largest French retailers.
In February 2019, InStore Solution joined Groupe Interway to create a national leader in connected stores. Each year, InStore manages more than 20,000 terminals and screens, 2.5 million wifi connections, 5,000 access points and more than 70,000 payment terminals.

Cleveron is a state-of-the-art Estonian company providing innovative “last mile” solutions to the world's leading retailers and logisticians. The 3,800 Cleveron lockers are located in 25 countries around the world. On average, 1.4 million packages are distributed each month using Cleveron lockers.

From the small activity area of the Moulin à Ennevelin, in Pévèle (south of Lille), InStore Solution distributes digital terminals and screens for shops all over the world. The company innovated during the first lockdown by creating a terminal that also distributes hydroalcoholic gel without contact.

The company, managed by Raphaël Cambier and which is now part of Groupe Interway (600 employees), worked with the Anios plant in Sainghin-en-Mélantois to “offer the best gel on the market” in a simple personalized dispenser or under a digital terminal. “We can distribute a plan to guide visitors, commercial messages, barrier gestures, whatever we want since it's connected… The largest containers distribute 4,000 doses without changing the can,” explains the director. These dispensers are of course assembled at InStore's premises in Ennevelin.

Thanks to this innovation, the company saw its sales soar. Sales which, at the start of autumn, are starting again. Large chains of stores and restaurants in fact order personalized terminals by several hundred copies to replace basic installations made with the means at hand.

The demand for digital kiosks has also exploded for ready-to-wear stores, drives, "click and collect" order pick-up points ... InStore thus equips Kiabi stores with order kiosks, but also Okaïdi, Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Pimkie, Décathlon, Conforama, Carrefour, etc. Raphaël Cambier is convinced of this: “digital is a force against the distribution crisis, to support changes in customer behaviour. Instore Solution will also expand to Ennevelin to create a training centre that will enable agents to learn how to install a huge parcel delivery robot designed in Estonia. The little thumb is attacking the Amazon distributor ...
